Forged from experience and reality.

I have spent three decades in the rooms where software actually ships — not the ones where it is only described. Development, QA, DevOps, UX, and the business around it: finances, sales, marketing, the grant application, the awkward conversation about scope.

The through-line is pragmatic. Start from the constraint. Cut the ceremony that does not pay rent. Leave behind a system people can run when I am gone.
